So... tell us about Freddie
Freddie Love is a classically trained actor, singer, writer, and drag divo. They’re currently in the West End’s Just For One Day, originating the role of Skye and singing Bohemian Rhapsody more often than most doctors would recommend.
Freddie bounces between basement bars, opera houses, and the West End- basically anywhere with lights and an audience willing to be captivated.
They’re originally from Oklahoma (yes that Oklahoma, land of torandoes and supressed emotions). London became home after a cross-Atlantic leap powered by sequins, hope, and the kind of trauma that keeps art interesting.
Freddie has written and performed two acclaimed solo shows: Queer Cowboys (a rootin' tootin' exploration of gender & feelings) and Sex, Drag & Opera (exactly what it says on the tin, but with more high notes and less safe words).
When not performing, Freddie enjoys boxing and gothic horror- both, in their own ways, therapeutic.
