So... tell us about Freddie
Freddie Love is a classically trained actor and singer, and a nonbinary powerhouse performer known for operatic vocal power and magnetic stage presence, and bold theatricality. They are currently appearing in the West End production Just For One Day (The Live Aid Musical), where they originated the role of Skye and performing “Bohemian Rhapsody” more than most doctors recommend.
With roots in opera, musical theatre, and cabaret, Freddie’s artistry draws comparisons to David Bowie, Annie Lennox, Freddie Merucry, Liza Minnelli, Klaus Nomi, and k.d. lang — blending technical precision with emotional storytelling and striking visual flair. Their work celebrates individuality, connection, and the transformative power of performance. They have performed on the BBC, ITVX, Britain’s Got Talent, West End Live, Classical Pride UK, Magic at The Musicals, and Royal Variety.
Originally from Oklahoma, Freddie now calls London home after a transatlantic leap fuelled by sequins, ambition, and the kind of trauma that keeps art interesting.
Their acclaimed solo shows include Queer Cowboys and Sex, Drag & Opera. When not performing, Freddie enjoys boxing and gothic horror — both, in their own ways, therapeutic.
