ABOUT

So... tell us about Freddie

Freddie is a nonbinary actor, singer, and creative artist whose work lives somewhere between grand opera, queer cabaret, and the unexpected.

Growing up on a small farm in rural Oklahoma, Freddie always had a flair for the theatrics. At age five, they wore a red brocade cape to school every day because they were "Super Dog." A few years later, they stumbled across a recording of Cats on television and thought, I don't know what this is, but those are my people.

Cue years of voice lessons, late night gigs, couch surfing, and hauling suitcases full of sequins. Eventually, the road led them to London, where they now call home.

Since then, Freddie has built a career that refuses to stay in one lane. They've appeared on the BBC, ITVX, Britain's Got Talent, West End Live, Magic at the Musicals, Classical Pride UK, and the Royal Variety Performance. Most recently, they were part of the original West End cast of Just For One Day (The Live Aid Musical), performing "Bohemian Rhapsody" more times than most doctors recommend. A particular highlight was singing it for Brian May at the 40th anniversary of Live Aid.

Alongside theatre, Freddie creates original work, including Queer Cowboys and Sex, Drag & Opera- shows packed with big vocals, big feelings, and stories that are equal parts heartfelt and hilarious.

They're also expanding into screen work. A dedicated Muay Thai fighter with competitive experience and BASSC certification in unarmed combat for screen, Freddie enjoys bringing a bit of grit to characters people don't expect it from.

Whatever the medium, Freddie is drawn to stories that are bold, theatrical, surprising, and just a little bit mischievous.

When they're not performing, they're usually reading gothic novels, scrolling on Vinted, playing video games, or being bossed around by their cat, Flash.
